Moving to Dubai from US, are there american TV channels?!/ internet?!?

Since Dubai has many ethnicities/cultures within the city, are there any american tv shows/movies on tv or in the theaters?

Also, would I be able to watch those shows medications without a prescription on the internet?
When I traveled in Europe, i couldnt watch my american shows.
